Saturday May 3rd: "An Nou Eksplore Tradisyon Ayiti"
“An Nou Eksplore Tradisyon Ayiti” provides an opportunity for youth to explore the Haitian Culture and traditions through music and dance. Participants will attend workshops run by two dance instructors accompanied by a master drummer and a drumming workshop. Participants will learn two dancing styles, and receive instruction on drumming techniques and roles. Following the workshops, the program will end with a finale showcase on May 3rd where participants will have the opportunity to perform along with other professional artists. Admission is free and artists will include La Troupe Zetwal, Djarara, and more!

July 21th 2007: Celebrate Haitian Culture: La Troupe Zetwal will be performing traditional Haitian folkloric dance and drumming at East Farmers Market (New Lots & Schneck Ave, #3 to Van Siclen, B15, B83, B6), at 11:00AM. Click here for directions to the event.
July 28th 2007: Haitian Dance Class on the Grass: On July 28th from 1 :00- 3:00PM La Troupe Zetwal will offer a free dance class that promotes good health and fitness at Lincoln Terrace Park in Brooklyn, NY. The event is open to ages 7 and above.
April 30th 2007: Performance at Queens Library - Cambria Heights, NY.
